Andes Crossing
Instead of flying from Mendoza (Argentina) to Santiago (Chile), why not experience the sensation of taking a trip on an incredible road through the Andes? Once in Santiago, it is possible to visit the Chilean wine routes and the Pacific coast ... All we can say about this trip is WOW!
The scenery is breathtaking, the ride can be an adventure, and there is a new view around every bend. Also, how many people can really say that they crossed the Andes in a private vehicle?
From Mendoza, the trip to Santiago is 365 km and is estimated to last six hours. This does not take into account traffic, photo stops, or waiting at customs. The path is very direct and easy to find, without a doubt an unforgettable full day excursion.
We leave the city of Mendoza as soon as possible; we recommend that it be at 7:00 a.m., after a hearty breakfast. To the west, we take route 7 to cross the Andes. We will have a list of amazing places along the way:
