Aconcagua Trekking

Mount Aconcagua is a unique symbol of the Mendoza province - the highest peak in the Americas at 6,962 meters above sea level. In this hike, we will visit the Confluencia camp site, the first obligatory stop on the way to the summit.and we will delight in the most beautiful mountain landscapes.

Aconcagua Park is almost on the border with Chile. And it is there where the highest mountain in the world outside Asia is located, with its almost 7 thousand meters of altitude. Aconcagua means "stone sentinel" in the indigenous language and with this activity we will head towards Confluencia (3,300 masl). Here is the point for camping and acclimatization for hikers preparing to climb the mountain.

National Route 7 takes us to Aconcagua Provincial Park, whose unique beauty allows us to see an infinity of mountains, gorges and valleys.

The trek to Confluencia is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy different experiences on the same route. Physical activity will be perfectly combined with the full enjoyment of the surroundings. In the circuit that we will do, it will be possible to appreciate the impressive southern wall of Aconcagua just after the start of the trek. It will take almost three hours to reach the camp, where we will find ourselves immersed in a great panorama of mountains and glaciers.
