Creative Happy Hour (indoor & outdor)

A time to relax, have fun, and have an amazing time at the workplace. We run a food truck, teachers who will invite you to play games and physical activities such as yoga or the "New Zealand haka", among many other challenges that will motivate you to do your best together with your co-workers.

Some very fun options:

Make your own movie

What better way to stimulate creativity than to have your team make their own little movie? This fun activity can be done indoors or outdoors and optionally requires some equipment (cameras, tripods and microphones), or in a more “home” way with cell phones. The participants are divided into large teams (minimum 8 people) asking each group to assign the different responsibilities (scriptwriter, actors, cameraman, director, etc.), a theme can be suggested or the teams are asked to choose their own theme.

The teams will create films based on the script, which may have to do with themes specific to the company's activity, development of new products, marketing ideas, etc. Screen all finished films at the end of the activity, awarding prizes to the best selections.

Making a movie is an exercise in teamwork. You need all parts of the "studio" to work together seamlessly for a successful movie. Since you're working in a sandbox, teams will also need to be creative to get the narrative and effects they want. This can promote lateral and unconventional thinking.

Objectives: to promote the creativity of the team to develop a special project (film).

Radio in Company

Making movies is fun, but what if some team members are shy and prefer not to appear on camera? Or if you don't have the equipment or experience to make and edit movies? In such situations, we have an alternative: to create a radio program.

This timeless format offers an alternative for teams to work together and express their creativity. A radio play is a much more accessible creative format than making actual movies or theater plays, since it only requires voice acting, people are generally more willing to participate.

Objectives: we will develop collaboration, teamwork and creative thinking.

Stove stories

A classic activity that inspires storytelling and improves communication. The teams meet in a circle and share their experiences on different topics. Along the way, they learn about each other and relive old memories. A narration session can be started with words like "first day at the company", "work trip", "new clients", and so on.

Storytelling is at the heart of the community experience, it is a good way that information is conveyed informally. A storytelling session focused on work-related stories can make a large group relax and share their experiences.

Objectives: development of communication, generate interaction and trust.

Build bridges, not walls

Two teams build separate halves of the same bridge using the provided materials (wood, rope, tape, etc). Once finished, they have to work together to make the halves fit together. A great game to develop collaboration and creativity skills.

The participants are divided into two teams of equal size. The materials and a special sector are delivered so that they work without being in contact with the other team, although they will be able to communicate verbally through a person in charge who will give them information on the work of the other group. After the indicated time, each team will present their part of the bridge and then fit it with that of the other team.

Building bridges is fun, but when you have to build only half of it and make sure the opposing team does the same, it creates an interesting dynamic. Teams must communicate clearly through verbal instructions to be successful.

Goals: develop creative thinking, communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.

Magazine cover

Who wouldn't want to be on the cover of a magazine? In this activity, each team has to create an imaginary magazine cover story about a successful project or business achievement. They need to get the images right, create headlines, formulate quotes, etc. A great exercise in creativity that can also inspire your team to think big.

Players don't have to write the whole story; they just have to write the headlines and create images, quotes and sidebars. The activity lists a series of details that we previously worked on with the management of the company, undoubtedly an activity that is liked and generates empathy in the groups. At the end, the best magazine cover is chosen, optionally offering an extra prize for creativity. Seeing the success of your project or business in a magazine is the highlight of any organization.

Goals: visualize future success, encouraging the team to think big.

Tied together!

A great and simple game for building relationships and getting people to work together. Teammates are tied by the wrist and must complete a series of simple tasks. To be successful, everyone must collaborate closely and communicate well.

Since teammates are all close together, they will need to communicate clearly and collaborate well to complete these seemingly simple tasks. A time limit can be added to increase the difficulty and tie everyone at the wrists and ankles. Ask them to complete some physical tasks like picking up objects, crossing a maze (made with cones), or transferring tennis balls from one bucket to another.

Simple tasks get more difficult and some more difficult tasks become easier when you are forced to work so closely with your teammates. Successful teams generally approach each task with a fixed plan and delegate authority well, choosing responsible leaders.

Objectives: assertive communication and the construction of closer and more reliable relationships will be developed.
