The restaurant we are going to today is located inside the Susana Balbo Winemaker's House & Spa Suites, a small luxury hotel in Chacras de Coria (about 13 km from Mendoza), a village where everything revolves around the world of wine. What immediately catches your attention upon arrival, along a tree-lined path, is the hospitality and service: you are greeted at the door and accompanied to the bar area, where, with a welcome cocktail, you are offered the opportunity to take a tour of this family winery's facilities before heading to your table to learn about its history and works of art. In the contemporary-style restaurant, with its glass-enclosed kitchen and wooden structure that gives it a certain character, you will find two menus with a modern touch (one with 7 courses and the other with 14), created by chef Flavia Amad Di Leo (who is also the culinary director of the Osadía de Crear restaurant). The presentations are carefully crafted and everything is paired with the most exclusive wines from Susana Balbo Wines!

Tips

Night 6/3– MENDOZA – Vía Blanca, free activity during harvest week
Starting at approximately 8 p.m., the Via Blanca de las Reinas (Queens' White Way) is one of the key parts of Mendoza's Vendimia. The Queens, chosen throughout the year by the different departments of Mendoza, arrive in the city and parade before the public in their carriages. When the sun sets and darkness falls, one of the most important traditions of the Vendimia is about to begin: the Via Branca das Rainhas.
Thousands of people from all departments of the province of Mendoza eagerly await, with posters and banners, the arrival of their queens and princesses. Each department parades a carriage carrying its queen and princesses.
Added to this is the decoration and creativity to make everything look perfect and to make the department they represent look the most beautiful of all, the best. Every year, the ritual is repeated to perfection, and although some may argue that it is repetitive, the parade and the relationship between the audience and the floats are different each year. Passion always wins, which is why this part of the big party is one of the most popular with the public. The last float passes by as the crowd applauds and celebrates. It's time to start heading home. If you don't want to miss the Carousel, you'll have to get up early.

Morning, Day 3 March 7 – MENDOZA – Carrusel de las Reinas, free activity during harvest week
Starting at 10 a.m., the Carousel, which consists of a tour around the city and passing in front of the authorities' stage, is one of the highlights of the Harvest Festival. No one wants to miss it. The word carousel comes from the French “carrousel” and has spread throughout the world. When we say it, we immediately think of our “calesitas,” which have become one of the most beloved and memorable games of our childhood.
There, children become the real spectacle watched by parents and grandparents from afar. This is the plot of the game where movement and rotation reign supreme. The idea of a carousel or “going around” has gained ground in all public and recreational shows, and the Harvest Festival could not fail to have its own Carousel, with the Queens and their respective Floats. The Carousel is one of the fundamental parts of the Harvest celebrations. The people of Mendoza, along with tourists from all over the world, can enjoy the parade of queens during the day, or as they say,“a cara lavada” (with a clean face). The different floats representing each department, with their queens and princesses, parade through the main streets of the city, gratefully greeting the lively and festive crowd. The official stage, where provincial and national authorities are located, is one of the central points of the Carousel. In front of it, the queens greet and distribute souvenirs, among which grapes, melons, pears, wines, and other products of nature stand out, which are produced year after year thanks to human effort. That is what the Vendimia is all about.

Afternoon Day 3 March 7 – MENDOZA – Private Tour Argentine barbecue lunch at the Zuccardi Family
USD170 Net (based on 2 persons)
At 1:00 p.m., we can pick you up to enjoy a true Argentine barbecue at one of the pioneering wineries in wine tourism and one of the largest in Argentina. We will go to the Casal del Visitante restaurant of the Zuccardi Santa Julia Family in Maipú. The Casa del Visitante at Bodega Familia Zuccardi, located in Mendoza, Argentina, is a restaurant that offers a unique dining experience amid the vineyards of the famous wine region. The space is designed to provide visitors with a total immersion in the local culture and the wine production process at the bodega. The panoramic view of the Andes and the natural surroundings create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a meal that combines Argentine cuisine with award-winning wines from the Zuccardi family itself. The aim is to offer a deep connection with the authentic flavors of the region, providing memorable moments for its customers.
On the menu at Casa del Visitante, local cuisine takes center stage, with dishes prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pairing of food with wines from the winery is one of the restaurant's biggest attractions, allowing visitors to experience the best of Mendoza's cuisine alongside the renowned wines of the Zuccardi family.
The service is personalized, ensuring that each customer has a unique and unforgettable experience, whether during a quiet lunch or a special dinner. Without a doubt, Casa del Visitante is a must-see destination for wine and food lovers visiting Mendoza.

The event always ends with the election of the National Harvest Queen and impressive fireworks that dance to the rhythm of music for over 20 minutes.

General informationabout the organization– Government of Mendoza
The main event of the Harvest Festival is a public event organized by the government of Mendoza. The event has two repetitions, on Sunday and Monday. The Mendoza government does not grant refunds for the ticket price if the passenger is unable to attend on the first day after the main event, which is when the Harvest Queen is elected. In the event of cancellation of the main event on the night of March 7, or if the customer does not wish or is unable to attend on a day other than the scheduled one, Mendoza Holidays will not issue any refunds or credits. This is due to what was detailed in the paragraph above, where tickets are not refunded by the government, as well as other services that are contracted and paid for in advance.
