Catena & Zuccardi

On this tour we will visit two of the largest wineries in Argentina and perhaps the most popular among them, as well as being a favorite among travelers visiting Mendoza.Your first visit will be in Catena Zapata, undoubtedly one of the largest insignia of Argentina. You will surely be surprised to discover an immaculate Mayan temple hidden in the vineyards of Mendoza. The impressive pyramid is the showcase of the Catena Zapata winery, where Alejandro Vigil works, being one of the most prestigious winemakers in the region. This winery deserves credit for alerting the world to the potential of Argentina and for reaching the top of the Argentine wine pyramid.

Next, we will visit the Familia Zuccardi winery, a family business, although it is a giant in the world of wine. Founded in 1963 by the engineer Alberto Zuccardi and currently run by his children and grandchildren.

After an exhaustive tour of the production rooms, we delight in the traditional lunch at the Casa del Visitante restaurant. A classic argentinean barbecue will be accompanied by grilled vegetables and a splendid wine pairing. With two restaurants, an olive oil factory, and an art gallery, visitors have plenty to see and do while visiting here.
