Clos de los Siete is a bold and visionary project led by renowned French winemakers Michel Rolland and Jean-Michel Arcaute. In 1988, they persuaded five fellow French investors—each with deep ties to the world of wine and prestigious family names—to produce wines in Argentina. The original concept envisioned all investors owning neighboring vineyards, contributing grapes to a shared wine called Clos de los Siete, while also crafting their own labels under Rolland’s expert guidance. 
We begin with a visit to Monteviejo, guided by one of Argentina’s most talented winemakers, Marcelo Pelleriti, who also serves as head winemaker at Château Le Gay in Pomerol. Monteviejo is renowned not only for its high-scoring wines—its Lindaflor received 93 points from Wine Spectator—but also for its annual rock music festival. Striking on the outside and highly functional within, the winery features a clean, efficient layout designed to produce exceptional wines with minimal disruption. 
Monteviejo specializes in French-style blends and select varietals, distributed both locally and—primarily— internationally. The winery is owned by one of the most influential women in the wine world, Catherine Péré-Vergé. 
Next, we head to the Zuccardi Piedra Infinita Winery, a stunning architectural tribute to the solemn and majestic mountains that shape the climate and soil of the Uco Valley. The building appears to rise organically from the earth, constructed with natural elements like local limestone and concrete. Towering stone walls and fermentation tanks protect the wines crafted within. 
Each wine from Zuccardi Piedra Infinita reflects the essence of its origin—a harmonious blend of climate, soil, altitude, and human touch. The winery’s philosophy is to produce wines with true identity, achieved through continuous exploration of the Uco Valley’s diverse terroirs. Every wine line represents a concept, a belief, a tribute, and a faithful expression of the vineyard where the grapes were born. This visionary range was developed under the leadership of Sebastián Zuccardi, with a commitment to crafting wines of character and authenticity. 

Piedra Infinita Cocina offers a truly unique gastronomic experience. Through expansive windows, the breathtaking landscape blends seamlessly with the dining space, making guests feel as though they are enjoying their meal in the heart of the vineyards, surrounded by majestic mountains. Executive Chef Matías Aldasoro, together with renowned Argentine chef Fernando Trocca, has crafted a menu rooted in the use of regional and seasonal ingredients.
