On this day, tourism will be adventure, with the maximum pleasure given by the natural environment. We will start from a special ranch, located in Tunuyán, where valleys and gorges of incomparable colors will be the protagonists. It is important to highlight that this district is witness to indigenous peoples, immigrants and gestures of freedom and that through the trip we will know many historical details that make this region one of the most important in the Uco Valley.
Through a path that involves the mountain, we will reach the monument "Manzano Histórico", at the foot of the Cordón del Portillo. This site was the scene of one of the historical routes of the Army of the Andes, and represents the return of the Homeland. Tradition says that at that time General José de San Martín rested in a tree there, after his return from the campaign to liberate Chile. Currently the property forms a provincial reserve with an area of approximately one thousand hectares and a lot of local culture.
After approximately two hours of activity, knowing important details of the region, we will return to the starting ranch to enjoy a delicious lunch made with local products.
Then we will return to the city of Mendoza.
