Aconcagua Summit

We invite you to climb Mount Aconcagua via the Normal Route, a non-technical route and a perfect option for an avid trekker in excellent physical shape. We´ll enjoy an amazing experience in the andes mountains..

DETAILS

About the Normal Route:

There are three main routes up Aconcagua Mount. The most popular is the Normal Route, it takes a direct path up the north west side of the mountain and requires no technical climbing. The route uses the well-known base camp called "Plaza de Mulas" at 4300 meters (14108 ft).

First climbed in 1897 by Matthias Zurbriggen, this route has since become the standard one for most climbers. Although the way does not require technical climbing, it should not be underestimated, the altitude makes the trekking extremely tough. Higher up there is snow and ice on the way to the summit, and temperatures will get below -30 degrees celsius. There are a further 3 little base camps after Plaza de Mulas.

We include in your expedition the best logistics of mules, food service, transfer, accommodation, porters and tents.
