Salentein & Zuccardi Piedra Infinita

Around 09:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel located in the central area of ??the city of Mendoza to head towards Valle de Uco approx. 1h30 min on the road with the Cordillera in the background accompanying us all the time.

10:30 am - Guided tour and tasting "Salentein experience" at Bodega Salentein

Located in the heart of the Uco Valley, Salentein is one of the most historic wineries in Mendoza. It has one of the largest production scales in Argentina, producing millions of bottles per year, which are sold and consumed worldwide.

Salentein improved Argentine wines using and combining the best winemaking style from the old and new world, all while maintaining respect for the terroir.

As you walk through the winery, it is possible to see that it was designed in the shape of a cross. This project aims to be spiritual and practical when producing its cherished product. Upon reaching the underground cellar, people almost get lost among the five thousand oak barrels. The tasting takes place in one of the top rooms and Reserve and Numina wines are tasted.

We will taste:

1 Salentein Reserve, 2 Salentein Númina, 1 Sparkling wine.

1:30 pm - Guided tour and 6-course gourmet lunch harmonized with wines at Zuccardi Piedra Infinita winery

Then we will continue south of Mendoza to the new Zuccardi winery in Valle de Uco, which is a tribute to the austere and solemn mountain that defines the climate and soils of the region. The construction "emerges" from the ground and truly "belongs" to it because it is made with natural elements: local and white limestone and concrete. Impressive stone walls and concrete vats protect the wines; here we will do a visit with a Zuccardi wine tasting.

Through each of their wines, Zuccardi Piedra Infinita expresses the essence of wine origin: the irresolvable combination of climate, soil, altitude, and human hand. Their philosophy is to produce wines with identity through continuous exploration of different terroirs in Valle de Uco. Each line of wines represents a concept, a belief, a tribute, and a faithful expression of the vineyard where the grape was born. The development of this range of wines was led by Sebastian Zuccardi, with the philosophy of creating wines with identity through exploration of different soils in the valley.

Through the Andes mountain range, Piedra Infinita Cocina is a unique culinary experience. Through large windows, the landscape can be seen and integrated with it, making visitors feel as if they were eating among the vineyards. Executive Chef Matías Aldasoro, along with renowned Argentine chef Fernando Trocca, created a menu based on using regional and seasonal products, all paired with Zuccardi wines.

5:30 pm - After this unforgettable experience, we will return to your hotel in downtown Mendoza.
