Tailor-made Mendoza

Day 1: Arrival in Mendoza and wellcome dinner 

Private transfer from Mendoza airport to a central hotel.

In the evening, we will pick you up at your hotel and go to the welcome dinner that will be served in an old winery, Restaurante Abrasado into Los Toneles Winery, offers a wonderful gastronomy. A charming style and beautiful surroundings make it the ideal place to enjoy carefully designed dishes that reflect Argentine traditions in relation to cuisine. The Abrasado Restaurant offers gourmet cuisine, whose dishes combine a selection of sumptuous grilled cuts of meat and locally grown vegetables. The house specializes in dried meat, prepared using a traditional method that exposes the cut to the air, is dehydrated, concentrating its flavor and improving its texture.

Later return to hotel.

Day 2: City Tour with Lunch in Chandon

This touristic circuit of the city and its surroundings will allow us to get in touch with a modern city, known for its trees, wide sidewalks and cleanliness. This route will show us the history and culture of a town founded by colonizers more than four centuries ago. We will visit the Alameda, the Foundational Area, the Civic Center with its meadows and gardens and enter the Centenary Parque Gral. San Martín through its traditional gates, where we will delight in its sculptural works and through a winding path, we will ascend to Cerro da Glória where the monument to the liberating gesture of America is found. Downhill we will see the Greek theater Frank Romero Day, the central stage of the Harvest Festival.

After this beautiful tour, we head to the Luján de Cuyo region to visit and have lunch at the Chandon champagnes. Here you can learn all the secrets of this majestic drink, even enjoying a special sparkling wine to make drinks. For sure, it will be a unique experience!

Day 3: Luján de Cuyo Wine Tour - Renacer, Kaiken and Alta Vista Wineries 

Early in the morning we left from your hotel to the vineyards located in Luján de Cuyo, the heart of wine in Mendoza. The first visit of the day takes place at Renacer, a beautiful and modern winery with landscaped gardens, surrounded by vineyards. The owners are Chilean and specialize in the production of Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc. Here we enjoy an exclusive tasting of three Malbecs from three different areas so that the varietals can be compared in a particular way.

Then we will visit the Kaiken winery. This rustic place from the 80's houses the new development of the prestigious Chilean winery Montes. Here the visit starts from the vineyards with an explanation to be able to immediately understand the flavors and aromas of the wine.

Finally, the chosen winery is Alta Vista. The building has enchanted since the beginning, since everything is designed based on the original architecture and style. The tasting room is located in one of the original concrete tanks, stylistically re-designed. In addition, your Malbec received 92 + points from Wine Spectator, which deserves great admiration. At lunchtime we prefer a picnic next to the vineyards, designed to enjoy the outdoors with a special wine tasting. Imagine this moment invaded by relaxation and think of all the reasons that exist to toast!

Day 4: Premium Uco Valley Wine Tour - Salentein + Bodega Andeluna Wineries

We leave early from your hotel in the center of Mendoza towards the Uco Valley. Located in the heart of the Uco valley, Salentein is one of the most historic wineries in Mendoza. It has one of the largest production scales in Argentina, producing millions of bottles per year, which are sold and consumed worldwide.

Salentein improved Argentine wines using and combining the best winemaking style of the old and new world, all while maintaining respect for the terroir. When walking through the winery, you can see that it was designed in the shape of a cross. This project is intended to be spiritual and practical when it comes to making your appreciated product. Upon reaching the underground cellar, people are almost lost among the five thousand oak barrels. The tasting takes place in one of the top rooms and the Reserve and Númina wines are tried.

We continue the journey to have lunch at one of the great stars that rise in the region: Andeluna. Located at the foot of the Andes, on the outskirts of the city of Tupungato, Andeluna has a magnificent view of the mountains (one of the best in the region). The restaurant's huge windows are designed to take advantage of the effect, allowing us to enjoy the view from the kitchen that is fully open to allow you to see the preparations and the remarkable creativity of these chefs in action. Here you will have the pleasure of trying 6-steps paired lunch. Leaving this magical valley behind, we are ready to return to Mendoza City.

Day 5: Blend Experience in Maipú - “Winemaker for one day”

Today you will enjoy an experience based on interaction and entertainment. The activity is designed to play, experiment and discover the challenge of an oenologist: to create his own work of art, combining different varietals ...

The motto of Tempus Alba is: ¨We are what we do¨. Five generations of the Biondolillo family work at this excellent winery which really means a family affair. The father runs the Malbec cloning program, Mariano takes the machinery part of the winery and Leo is responsible for the sales sector. They are all lovely people and convey their essence to all visitors who come to the place. 

After a complete visit to the winery made by one of the family members or even by the same winemaker, we headed to the laboratory where the challenge will be carried out: the blend of five varieties of red grapes. Imagining to be a wine expert, you can learn many secrets that coexist around wine, as well as train everything that has to do with the sensory. 

Later, you can enjoy a delicious paired lunch with Tempus Alba wines on the terrace, which undoubtedly has one of the best views in Mendoza! After all activities at Tempus are finished, we return to the Hotel.

Day 6: Entre Cielos Hamam SPA + lunch at Nieto Senetiner winery

We will enter the heart of the main wine region to enjoy the pure waters of Mendoza. Enjoying Hamam was and is the center of social life in the wisest oriental cultures. The relationship of men and women with the spa means a permanent ritual of purification and relaxation of the body, mind and soul. The delightful Hamam thus becomes a place of daily meeting to share the good dialogue, the big deals and the best dreams. The proposal for visitors consists of different circuits with high temperatures and humidity, controlling the steam. The stimulus to metabolism produces a wonderful state of tranquility, connecting the cleansing of the body with the peace of mind and the flight of the soul.
