Uco Valley Classic
The Uco Valley has been the focus of the great wine investments of Mendoza in the last decades. Located at the foot of the Andes, some vineyards reach more than 1,500 meters of altitude. The thermal amplitude makes the grapes protect themselves and thicken their skins, adding color and flavor to the wines of the region.
The mountains and the beautiful landscapes of the Uco Valley prepare our senses to experience the aromas and flavors of these wines. Surrounded by the impressive landscape of the Tupungato volcano, you will appreciate the prestige of these wineries and their magnificent products, ending with an incomparable gourmet lunch.
We will start our day at the Pulenta Estate winery, where the philosophy is to reconcile the family tradition of many years with the latest technology in winemaking. The tour of the facilities is surprising as all production sectors are below ground level. Here we will do the sensory tasting, a great opportunity for beginners who can marvel at the incredible world of wine, as well as being one of the best occasions when one has the opportunity to train the senses.
We continue to the La Azul boutique winery, which in its beginnings was just a farm, soon planted vineyards and started selling grapes to other wineries in the region, and today it is a renowned winery. All visitors who come to this place and taste its wines, highlight the friendly climate and the personalized service provided by its hosts.
We will end the day with a special lunch at one of the great rising stars of the region: Andeluna. Here you will be happy to sample six courses paired with delicious wines, including the top line of Pasionado, and of course a wonderful background landscape that will elevate the experience.
