Glamping in the Uco Valley

Day 1: Arrival in Mendoza 

PRIVATE TRANSPORT – AIRPORT / ALPASION Lodge in the Uco Valley.*: we will be waiting for you at the arrival gate of Mendoza Airport to take you to the hotel in the Uco Valley.

** Distance between airport and Alpasión: 120 KM - approximately 1 hour and a half by car. 

Consult by optional lunch or welcome dinner at Alpasión.

Day 2: Organic wineries in the North Uco Valley

Visit and tasting at Superuco and Masi wineries, 4-step paired lunch at Domain Bousquet winery

Duration: from 09.30 to 16.00 hrs approx. 

This is a special opportunity to get to know some of the great organic wineries and learn from the people who work at them. The Uco Valley is  famous for its vineyards of altitude and cold climate, stands out for offering products of excellent quality due to the particular terroir that characterizes it.

First, we will stop at some spectacular vineyards and fruit orchards in the beautiful Uco Valley district. Once we arrive at The Vines of Mendoza, we will visit this wonderful wine resort. Then, you can taste the fantastic products of a beautiful and distinguished family winery: Super Uco.

Then, will visit Masi winery, a paradise with native flora and fauna. Masi has integrated its own techniques in the winery and created an eco-sustainable reality in which important oases of biodiversity are maintained in the context of organic agriculture. Caring for and respecting the environment are part of Masi's culture and philosophy, its wines combine the exuberance of Argentine nature with the attractive style and elegance of wines from Veneto, Italy.

On the way to the next visit, we will stop at some spectacular vineyards and fruit orchards in the beautiful Uco Valley district. Once we arrive at The Vines of Mendoza, we will visit this wonderful wine resort. Then, you can taste the fantastic products of a beautiful and distinguished family winery: Super Uco.

We continue westwards to reach Domaine Bousquet, a producer of highly awarded organic wines. The winery is dedicated to organic agriculture, improving the biodiversity of its lands. The owners really think that the healthier the vineyard is, the better the fruit and, of course, the better the wine. Agriculture and organic production help to protect and sustain the land and the environment for future generations. This is the ideal tour for those looking for an experience that goes beyond the ordinary.

Day 3: Wineries in the South Uco Valley

Visit and tasting at winery Gimenez Riili, visit and 5-steps paired lunch at winery Zuccardi - Piedra Infinita.

Duration: from 09.30 to 15.30 hs approx. 

Among several wineries in the region, today we will visit family projects, such as Gimenez Rilli and Zuccardi Piedra Infinita. After driving through beautiful landscapes decorated with trees, colors, and mountains, we will arrive at the first winery called Gimenez Rilli. Family enterprise that is currently run by the third generation, whose mission is to produce great wines highlighting the unique conditions of each terroir. Here we will enjoy wines made with love, care for the land, and above all things, a lot of passion and patience. We continue to Zuccardi winery in the Uco Valley, which is a tribute to the austere and solemn mountain that defines the region's climate and soils. The construction "emerges" from the soil and truly "belongs" to it because it is made with natural elements: local and white limestone and concrete. Imposing stone walls and concrete vats that protect the wines ... here we will make a visit with a tasting of Zuccardi wines. Each wine line represents a concept, a belief, a tribute and a faithful expression of the vineyard where the grape was born.

Day 4: Day at leisure

PRIVATE TRANSPORT – ALPASION Lodge in the Uco Valley / AIRPORT. 

** Alpasión: 

Alpasión Lodge now has 3 new accommodation spaces with "glamping" style facilities with deck and private bath. It is the first development of this type in the Uco Valley. The bathtubs were built manually in Tierra del Fuego with wood that comes from sustainable forests over 30 years old. Each tent is equipped with a private bathroom, king-size bed, safe, refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine. The lodge and restaurant are just meters from the tents.

It is important to know that it is located in a rural area, and being organic we do not apply insecticides or pesticides on the farm. Then it is possible to find insects and animals in the area. We recommend taking the necessary precautions.
