Ernesto Catena Tour

Around 10 o'clock in the morning we left for the department of Tunuyán located in the beautiful Uco Valley, south of Mendoza. Our destination is the winery of the son of the famous Dr. Nicolas Catena.

Ernesto Catena, as he is called, considers himself a passionate and beauty-loving man. That is perhaps why he spends so much time making a good wine as well as designing his label. For him, wine is a bridge between nature, culture and art, he is passionate and involved in various projects such as the presidency of the Premium Escorihuela Gascón winery, where the 1884 restaurant is located, created a Polo team which is responsible for around the world and an art gallery in Buenos Aires but nothing compared to his own project and his greatest treasure: the Ernesto Catena Vineyards winery.

Owner of famous wines and full of mysteries such as the famous Alma Negra, Animal, Siesta, Padrillos and Tikal that Catena compares with true works of art. On this tour we will be welcomed in the center of your finca with a beautiful elaborated in situ and then we will visit its vineyards and fields surrounded by the fabulous Andes Mountains, in addition we will see its small and experimental biodynamic winery and we will do a premium tasting before going on to lunch.

Around 2 in the afternoon we will eat a traditional Argentine asado with grilled vegetables or in a clay oven with several salad options and then a dessert to finish, all harmonized with wines.

We will be back in Mendoza at around 5.15 pm.
