Mountain Bike - Crossing the Andes

Departure from the hotel on the International Route 7 towards Alta Montaña. Arrival at the town of Las Cuevas, the last Argentine city on the edge of the international tunnel, 3,200 meters above sea level.

After a calorie-packed breakfast, we set off for Chile, where the ascent of the old snails begins. The trip is short, but very difficult physically. We will climb 1,000 m in just 8 km, the average speed is 5 km per hour.

We will have an experience of 2/3 hours of ascent through a magnificent landscape, surrounded by beautiful mountains with peaks of eternal snows and imposing glaciers, finally reaching the Cristo Redentor (border between Argentina and Chile).

After a well-deserved rest and free time to take photos in the heart of the central Andes, we will start our return. Once on the Argentine side, a spectacular descent begins, also on a spiral path, arriving again at Las Cuevas where lunch awaits us with excellent wines.

Later, we will return to the city of Mendoza
