Mendoza Premium Tour

DAY BY DAY SUMMARY

Day 1: Transfer in + City tour

In this City Tour we will know the squares, parks and monuments that make Mendoza one of the most beautiful cities in Argentina. This tourist circuit of the city and its surroundings will allow us to come into contact with a modern city, known for its trees, its long paths and its cleanliness. This tour will show us the history and culture of a population founded by colonizers more than four centuries ago. We will visit the Alameda, the Foundational Area, the Civic Center with its parks and gardens and we will enter the centenary General San Martín park through its traditional gates, where we will delight ourselves with its sculptural works and, in a sinuous path, we will ascend to Cerro de La Gloria where the monument to the Gesta Libertadora de América is located. On the way down, we will see the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater, the central stage of the Harvest Festival.

Mendoza, friendly in his organization and cleanliness, lives with the silhouettes of the mountains. The warmth of its inhabitants is complemented by a wide range of gourmet flavors of local products always accompanied by excellent wines.

Optional: Welcome dinner at a centric restaurant

Day 2: Sailboat ride (with tasting on board) and lunch at Potrerillos Hotel.

This activity takes place in the Potrerillos Dam and is designed for people looking for a quiet and relaxing experience, in a wonderful natural environment; taking advantage of the excellent wind conditions of the place and enjoying the beautiful view of the famous mountains such as Cordón del Plata.

We will leave the city of Mendoza towards Potrerillos, where we will board our 24 foot sailboat. We will begin the activity with a technical conversation about navigation, safety on board and a summary of the landscape that we will contemplate around us.

Visiting various areas of Lake Potrerillos, we will make a stop in the most pleasant place to taste wines accompanied by typical Argentine appetizers that harmonize very well with them for this perfect day.

Then we will go to the Gran Hotel Potrerillos, an exclusive hotel in the middle of the mountain. Its restaurant and typical Argentine regional cuisine, highlighted by gastronomic techniques such as clay oven, flame grill and grill achieve a perfect harmony together with the use of local seasonal products and ingredients. The Chef's specialties are based on a wide range of meats such as goat, lamb and the traditional cuts of meat from the Argentine grill in tune with their accompaniments. In addition, they delight diners with varieties of dried or stuffed pasta and fish such as salmon and trout. The desserts are perfectly coupled to this culinary concept, allowing us to enjoy a trio of chocolate and Malbec ice cream with red fruit sauce, homemade vanilla flan with dulce de leche mousse and amaranth popcorn, banana split trifle and meringues, among others. The final touch is undoubtedly given by an excellent plurality of pairings possible thanks to an extensive wine list carefully selected for this menu.

Day 3: Exclusive Uco Valley

In the South Uco Valley, the main cities are Tunuyán, San Carlos, La Consulta and Eugenio Bustos. The main access is through Route 40, which cross the country from south to north. In this valley you can enjoy an experience full of details and learning.

In the extreme south of Mendoza, we combine two of the best wineries, top quality tastings, and a harmonized lunch in a winery restaurant with one of the best views of the Andes.

After passing through beautiful streets adorned with trees, colors and mountains, we will arrive at the first winery called Giménez Riili. This family business is currently run by the third generation, and their mission is to make excellent wines that highlight the unique conditions of each terroir. Here we will enjoy nature and a tasting of wines made with love for work, care for the land and, above all, a lot of passion and patience.

We continue to Zuccardi Piedra Infinita, which is a tribute to the austere and solemn mountain that defines the climate and soils of the region. The construction "emerges" from the ground and really "belongs to him" because it is made with natural elements: limestone and local white concrete. Towering stone walls and concrete tanks protect the wines. Here we will visit and have a wine tasting. Each line of wine represents a concept, a belief, a tribute and a faithful expression of the vineyard where the grape was born.
