Day 1: Transfer in + City tour
In this City Tour we will know the squares, parks and monuments that make Mendoza one of the most beautiful cities in Argentina. This tourist circuit of the city and its surroundings will allow us to come into contact with a modern city, known for its trees, its long paths and its cleanliness. This tour will show us the history and culture of a population founded by colonizers more than four centuries ago. We will visit the Alameda, the Foundational Area, the Civic Center with its parks and gardens and we will enter the centenary General San Martín park through its traditional gates, where we will delight ourselves with its sculptural works and, in a sinuous path, we will ascend to Cerro de La Gloria where the monument to the Gesta Libertadora de América is located. On the way down, we will see the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater, the central stage of the Harvest Festival.
Mendoza, friendly in his organization and cleanliness, lives with the silhouettes of the mountains. The warmth of its inhabitants is complemented by a wide range of gourmet flavors of local products always accompanied by excellent wines.
Optional: Welcome dinner at a centric restaurant
Day 2: Balloon ride and lunch at El Enemigo winery
Enjoy a sunrise or sunset flying in a private balloon over vineyards and olive trees with the mighty Andes mountains in the background. After that, enjoy an exclusive visit and premium lunch at the renowned winery: El Enemigo. Without a doubt it is a perfect plan to visit Mendoza.
The balloon flight is perfect for celebrating special occasions or simply enjoying spectacular aerial views. Each flight is a unique experience and lasts approximately 45 minutes from take-off to landing. We will fly to the compass of the wind following its direction and speed.
Contact with nature is permanent and it is possible to see the typical animal species of the area and the contrast generated by the different types of plantations. Flying in a balloon is a very pleasant experience, it does not have turbulence or sudden movements, everything happens calmly in harmony with the wind, like watching a movie in slow motion.
Once the flight is over, we will make a toast with a great sparkling wine from Mendoza while we pay a small tribute to the "New Aeronauts" (you) and we deliver the flight certificate. It will certainly be a great experience that you will need to feel at least once in your life!
At the end of this activity, we will visit the renowned El Enemigo winery and restaurant, which the famous winemaker Alejandro Vigil opened in her own home. An unforgettable experience in all aspects. The winery is literally in Alejandro's house, a small and very informal place inspired by a literary work that was very important in the childhood of the renowned winemaker. The first wine released, El Enemigo Malbec, was already noted as outstanding by Robert Parker. The 2008 vintage conquered no less than 94 points, being consecrated as one of the best wines in Latin America. Parker's notes again show how the Catena Zapata winery, specifically Alejandro Vigil, is at the forefront of Argentine oenological trends.
Here we will enjoy a delicious three-course lunch paired with all the wines in the winery's portfolio and if we are lucky, perhaps we will find the owner of the place, giving recommendations and telling stories about the wines he makes.
Day 3: Winemaker for a Day
Today you will enjoy an experience based on interaction and entertainment. The activity is designed to play, experiment and discover the challenge of a winemaker: create your own work of art, combining different varieties of grapes ...
After a complete visit to the Tempus Alba winery, which will be guided by one of the members of the family or even by the winemaker himself, we go to the laboratory where the challenge will be held, a blend of five varieties of red grapes.
Imagining being an expert in wines, you can learn many secrets that coexist around this great drink, as well as train everything related to sensory development.
Later, you can enjoy a delicious lunch paired with Tempus Alba wines, on the terrace of the winery, which has one of the best views in the region.
