A journey on foot along the Transandino train tracks. The goal is to walk through the abandoned spaces of the railway that stopped running more than 30 years ago. This is a walk that highlights the history that the train left us and the beauty of this area of the Andes. You will not cease to be amazed by its attractions!
This is a spectacular route along the banks of the Mendoza River that presents all the beauty of the mountainous landscape, crossing a good part of the railway line that was used in the past to link Mendoza and Chile.
This special hike follows the railway lines, as well as the tunnels, old stations, and historic train bridges that were once linked to the cities of Mendoza, in Argentina, and Los Andes, in Chile. This transport was operational from 1914 to 1984, considered at that time to be of vital importance to both countries.
This ancient train route, surrounded by the Mendoza river, allows you to explore the history hidden in this circuit, and also discover the best landscapes offered by the vastness of the Andes.
Combine the desire to get to know the mountain with physical activity and enjoy the unique pleasure that this will cause.
