Iguazú & Mendoza

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN IGUAZÚ

Arrival at the Iguazú airport, and transfer to your hotel in the city.

DAY 2: ARGENTINE FALLS

We leave early for the Iguazú National Park, declared a Natural World Heritage Site in 1984 thanks to its scenic beauties and the great biological diversity of the subtropical jungle. We visit part of the National Park that preserves 67,000 hectares of gigantic trees, lianas, and ferns that coexist with multicolored butterflies, colorful birds, and other mammalian specimens typical of the rich flora and fauna of the missionaries. We start the visit at the Interpretation Center with its Museum of Natural Sciences, to continue with the tour of the lower Paseo where we can observe several waterfalls. Later we do the upper walk moving along catwalks above important jumps. Later and as a "finishing touch" we moved on the Jungle Train until we reached the "Garganta del Diablo", where the Iguazú River expresses itself with all its might.

DAY 3: BRAZILIAN FALLS

Excursion to Brazilian Falls visiting its traditional footbridges is 1,200 meters from where you get a spectacular panoramic view of the 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguazú Falls. The most important are Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamín Constant and Salto Unión.

DAY 4: IGUAZÚ - MENDOZA

Check out of the hotel and transfer to the Iguazú airport. Reception at Mendoza airport. Transfer to your hotel.

DAY 5: CITY TOUR

The city is the ideal starting point for excursions to the main tourist attractions in the province, such as wine routes, mountains, rivers, spas and nature reserves. For this reason and much more, the city invites the visitor to appreciate nature, history, new friends and why not meet oneself.

This tourist circuit of the city and its surroundings will allow us to get in touch with a modern city, known for its beautiful trees, its wide sidewalks and its particular cleanliness. This tour will show us the history and culture of a city founded by colonizers more than four centuries ago. We will visit the Alameda, the Foundational Area, the Civic Center with its meadows and gardens and we will enter the Centennial Parque General San Martín through its traditional gates, where we will delight ourselves with its sculptural works and through a winding path, we will ascend to Cerro de la Gloria where the monument to the liberating deed of America is located. As we descend we will see the Frank Romero Day Greek Theater, the center stage of the Harvest Festival.

DAY 6: WINEMAKER FOR A DAY

Today you will enjoy an experience based on interaction and entertainment. The activity is designed to play, experiment and discover the challenge of a winemaker: create your own piece of art, combining different varieties of grapes ...

Tempus Alba's motto is: “We are what we do”. Five generations of the Biondolillo family work in this winery, which really means something familiar. The father directs the Malbec cloning program, Mariano runs the winery's machinery part and Leo is in charge of the sales sector. They are all lovable people and they transmit their essence to the visitors who get to know this beautiful place.

After a complete visit to the Tempus Alba winery, which will be guided by one of the members of the family or even by the winemaker himself, we go to the laboratory where the challenge will be held, a blend of five varieties of red grapes. Imagining being an expert in wines, you can learn many secrets that coexist around this great drink, as well as train everything related to sensory development.

Later, you can enjoy a delicious lunch paired with Tempus Alba wines, on the terrace of the winery, which has one of the best views in the region.

DAY 7: VALLE DE UCO

Without a doubt, this productive valley was a privileged place for those who chose to cultivate their vineyards. Here the characteristics of the grape improve due to the thermal amplitude and the different soil conditions. If we think of a wonderful landscape, indeed the Uco Valley presents one of the most beautiful in the city.

We leave early from your hotel in downtown Mendoza to the Uco Valley. 

Located in the heart of the Uco Valley, Salentein is one of the most famous wineries in Mendoza. It has one of the largest production scales in Argentina, producing millions of bottles per year, which are sold and consumed all over the world. Salentein has improved Argentine wines by using and combining the best old and new world style of winemaking, while maintaining respect for the terroir at the same time. As you walk through the winery, you will appreciate the cross-shaped design that is meant to be spiritual and practical in crafting your prized product. Upon reaching the underground cellar, people are lost among the 5,000 oak barrels. The tasting takes place in one of the top rooms where premium wines are tasted.

We continue the trip for lunch in one of the great rising stars of the region: Andeluna. Located at the foot of the Andes, on the outskirts of the city of Tupungato, Andeluna has a magnificent view of the mountains (one of the best in the region). The huge windows of the restaurant are designed to take advantage of the effect, allowing us to enjoy the view of the kitchen that is completely open to allow the visualization of the preparations and the remarkable creativity of these chefs in action. Here you will be happy to try six steps paired with wines.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE FROM MENDOZA

Check out of the hotel and transfer to Mendoza airport.
