Wine & Olives
Mendoza is globally recognized for its wineries, but not just that. Olive oil is also another very important product for our economy, and this tour shows the work of outstanding producers at the Lujan de Cuyo and Maipú regions.
Your first visit will be to Alta Vista winery, located in Chacras de Coria, a high-class region in Luján de Cuyo, recognized as the Malbec land. Inside this winery we could finde the French Consulate of Mendoza and here we'll enjoy our fisrt tasting of the day. Due to the qualityof their wines, they were internationally qualified as one of the most representative of Argentina.
Our next tour and tasting takes place at Laur olive oil factory, that shows us the oil manufacturing process, both the old process through its small museum, and the current process. This tasting consists of natural extra virgin olive oil and other products. In 2021 it won and was ranked as the best olive oil in the world by EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) World Ranking 2021.
Then we will visit and taste wines from Nieto Senetiner. With more than 130 years of history, Nieto Senetiner, is dedicated to the production of quality wines: Don Nicanor, Nieto Senetiner, Emilia, Fran and Benjamin are some examples.
The last winery will be Tempus Alba, in which we will enjoy a special menu of this boutique and family winery. This lunch is inspired by authentic recipes and regional cooking techniques and the ingredients that hold secrets of the best flavor. A selection of wines complements ech step.
