Maipú Flavors
To the east of the city, Maipú transports us to the past, in order to experience the origin of wine in Argentina. We will visit three wineries that opened the path of viticulture here in Argentina and have conserved their family traditions until this day, forming an important part of the production of wines in Mendoza.
This tour is designed to share and enjoy an excellent day of wines where we visit some of the most important and renowned wineries of this region.
The first, Trapiche Winery, represents the richness of diversity. Over the course of its history, this winery has always understood the strength of viticulture in this country, specializing in obtaining the best of the terroir, creating unique wines.
We continue to Sin Fin winery, a family owned winery by local Mendocinians - a modern proposition in a completely remodeled building from 1937.
Finally we visit Familia Zuccardi winery. This family company was founded in 1963 by Engineer Alberto Zuccardi. In those times, he began planting vines in Maipú (province of Mendoza), experimenting with an irrigation system of his own creation based on a method used in California. Forty five years after the starting point of this path, three generations of the family continue to be unified by a passion for wine. In September 2015, the prestigious magazine DECANTER acknowledged José Alberto and Sebastián Zuccardi as being among the five most influential personalities of Argentine wine.
We will continue for lunch to the wonderful Pan & Oliva restaurant, one of two restaurants located at Familia Zuccardi, known for its fresh take on pastas, salads and tapas, all with the incorporation of olive oil. We’ll head out to their lovely dining room to enjoy lunch and house wines.

- Visit to the olive grove and then lunch at the Santa Julia winery, Familia Zuccardi (restaurant Pan & Oliva).

- Departure time: 08:30 am
- Return to the hotel: 05:30 pm aproximatelly.
- Pick up and drop off passengers in each hotel (downtown Mendoza). There is an estimated 30 minute delay between the first and the last hotel.
