Wines and Olives Tour

Mendoza is globally recognized for its wineries, but not just that. Olive oil is also another very important product for our economy, and this tour shows the work of outstanding producers in the Lujan de Cuyo region.

Your first visit will be to Bodega Tempus Alba, a boutique winery which produces only limited quantities of high quality red wines. The Biondolillo family runs this outsanding bodega in the fifth generation and it really is a family affair.  Straight after, we head to Olivícola Pasrai, an olive oil factory in which we will get to know the process of olive oil making. A delicious olive oil tasting is provided, together with other deli foods to try (olive paté, sundried tomatoes on homemade bread).

Our next tour and tasting takes place at Luigi Bosca Winery. Founded in 1901 by Don Leoncio Arizu, Luigi Bosca winery has played an extensive role in the Argentine winemaking industry. For example, in 1989 the family actively worked for the foundation of the first DOC in Argentina (Denomination of Origin) in Luján de Cuyo.

The last winery will be Clos de Chacras, a boutique argentine Winery. Once there, after a guided tour, we will have a three- course lunch with paired wines that will be served at the winery´s restaurant. We will enjoy enough time here because you will find yourself wanting to spend it enjoying the beautiful location.

Schedule: from 8.30am till 4,30pm. Pick up passengers in each hotel. There is an estimated 30 minute delay between the first and the last hotel.
